    The new wave of online food-delivery websites has problems
    with metastability.

    Tonight I placed an order for delivery through an online ordering
    website at exactly 10:30pm to see what would happen.  The restaurant
    I ordered from normally stops accepting orders at 10:30pm.  

    The website accepted my order, like any other order placed during
    business hours.  But I didn't get any food.  

    Now you don't have to try ordering at a point of a metastability
    anymore.  You already know what the outcome is.
