    When I wake up to my alarm clock in the morning, I often don't
    understand immediately why my alarm clock is beeping.

    In trail mix, I like most pieces but there are some that I don't
    like as much (e.g. the coconut flakes).  When I woke up, I heard
    my alarm clock beeping and thought the beeps were just the bad
    parts of trail mix.  

    I was annoyed that I was getting so much of those bad parts of
    trail mix, in the half-dream.
